I hit it off with Jessi and Kyle right away, when they mentioned their love of antiquing, Halloween, Twin Peaks, and their desire to have a vintage Connecticut wedding that felt like “Saturday Night at the Roadhouse” (one of their wedding party was even the log lady during the ceremony). Even though there was some rain on their wedding day, everyone was so happy to be there and the rain just kind of added to the cozy atmosphere. And Roseland Cottage is such a cool wedding venue, with a historic Victorian details and beautiful gardens. I shot their wedding on a mixture of digital, and black and white film.
