Connecticut Elopement Photographer | Chelsey and Jimmy’s Polish National Home Wedding

FILED IN: All, Wedding

I’ve been friends with Chelsey since middle school (as she always has to remind me, we were assigned to the same lunch table. The rest is history). When she told me she was getting married I immediately marked the date on my calendar–as a guest instead of a photographer. Which I rarely get to be at weddings.

For reasons I don’t need to get into, this year complicated Chelsey and Jimmy’s plans. Instead of going forward with their larger wedding, they decided to have a very teeny “micro wedding” in Hartford and save the bigger party for next year. Although I of course would rather they be able to have the wedding they’d originally planned, I was really excited and honored to be able to capture the smaller of their two celebrations.

We did some photos at Elizabeth Park, then headed to the Polish National Home for their ceremony and a low-key Polish feast full of potatoes. It was awesome.

Gorgeous photos of a gorgeous couple! Wish we could have been there, but we look forward to the in-person celebration once it is safe to travel again. Gratulujemy! Życzymy Wam wszystkiego, co najlepsze! (according to the inter webs: Congratulations. Wishing the both of you all the happiness in the world.)
