I loved this Deity wedding, mostly because I got another chance to hang out with Willa and Josh. Willa and Josh have this very calm, friendly presence about them. I noticed it when I shot their engagement session, and when I arrived to start shooting getting-ready photos at their apartment on the morning of their wedding. The plans to do photos outside in the morning didn’t quite work out as expected, but we made the most of it by doing some rainy portraits with Willa and her mom before the ceremony.
Willa and Josh decided to have a Deity wedding, which is a really cool industrial-style venue. I love this Brooklyn wedding venue because of its a cozy brick interior, and atmosphere. It has a lot of charm and character but isn’t fussy, and it was perfect for what Willa and Josh wanted. The whole vibe was really relaxed and fun, and they included all of their family, including the kids.
