Ashley and Mike decided to have a Webb Barn wedding, which was perfect for their personalities. It had been raining crazily before their wedding, but they got lucky with the first sunny day in weeks. They knew they wanted their wedding to be fun and not too formal, so they included pizza for dinner and a Pittsburgh cookie bar for dessert. And had an alpaca visit.
When these two initially emailed me, I knew they would be so easy and fun to work with. You can just tell that they prioritize enjoying themselves and each other’s company.
Webb Barn is a really cool venue, because of how cozy it is. A lot of barn venues are on huge farms which can be nice too, but when you’re having a smaller guest list it’s nice to feel like everyone is close throughout the party.
They had their ceremony under a beautiful, huge tree. The rest of the day was spent eating pizza, hanging out outside, and dancing. I will admit I sampled more than a few of the treats from the cookie table. Shoutout to Victoria’s Wood-Fired pizza for making me a mini pizza to eat on the way home (sometimes it’s hard to find a time to sit. Pizza tastes better in the car anyway).
This wasn’t a backyard wedding, but it definitely felt like one. Scroll down to see a recap of their Webb Barn wedding!
